The Meeting – Face To Face
Your website isn’t human (salesperson) but needs a human touch to work. As web design professionals we want to meet you face to face to better understand your website ideas and you.
At the meeting we will exchange ideas discussing your target audience and business growth aims. We will then put forward our recommendations and ideas demonstrating our experience and passion for what we do.
After our meeting we will create a custom website proposal outlining what we will do and the costs involved.
When you are happy with the proposal, fantastic we can move to the next stage.
Designing Your Logo (if applicable)
We offer Free Logo Design to help you achieve an affordable online presence for your business quickly. We blame having too much coffee to offer this service free.
Logo Design may not be needed but it’s handy to know this is available. Just ask and we will get it done for you.
Generate Website Content
Whilst we develop your business logo or jump to designing your website draft you can now start to generate the written content that will go on each website page of your site.
You can refer to your website proposal for page structure as we include the suggested information architecture (page structure) in our no obligation proposals as a initial guide.
Feel free to ask us for direction if you have information overload and if you need to add more pages whilst you are creating your content thats not a problem. Just let us know so we can make any revisions needed to your website as we may need to re work your navigation.
For written content consider the following:
- Use clear headings
- Be unique
- Be relevant to business
- Avoid industry jargon
- Be simple and to the the point
To add a standard page it will cost £35 - £65 ex vat depending on the amount of content you provide.
Please note: As professional web designers we have planned in your design time and as such we do stress that every effort be made by our clients to provide written content that has been proof read and spell checked. This is to ensure there are no project delays.
Designing Your Website Draft
The website draft we custom design for you is a key step in the successful development of your website. We produce a graphic representation that will be based on the conversation you have had with your web designer. You can make an unlimited number of design revisions as you would like and without any additional cost implications.
The website draft that we will email you will give you an excellent idea of how your website will look when it is finished and get you working closely with us.
Please be aware that if there are major design alterations after this stage you may incur additional costs. Only when you are 100% happy with your website draft will we move to the next stage of development.
Creating Your Website Code and Adding Pages
After you have approved your website draft we will start coding your website and adding your website pages. When the site is complete we will then upload your website to a temporary internet address.
Your web designer will email you the web link which will allow you to view your site on an internet browser. You will be able to click through the pages, view any animation (optional website upgrade) and also the content that you would have provided.
Having your almost completed website on a temporary website address will also give you a last chance to make any minor alterations to the website content and page formatting before your website goes live.
Only when you are 100% happy with your website can we move to the next stage of development. Adding Additional Components, Email and Enquiry Forms
We are almost ready to go live with your new website just a couple more things we must do.
At this stage of development we code the enquiry forms (if applicable) and add any additional components that you may have requested. Content management, Gallery portfolio, Google interactive map etc... We have many additional components available
Testing Compatibility, Compliance and Accessibility
We will make sure that your website is compatible, compliant and accessible to industry standards put forward by the UK web design association and detailed in your website proposal.
Setup Hosting and Email
Your new site is ready now we need to setup your hosting so that your website can be accessed over the internet. You get 1 years free hosting with Fresheverything and the cost to renew your hosting will be detailed in your proposal.
We will also set up your email forwarding and create a primary POP3 account for you. You can then receive emails sent through your website enquiry form. You can access your email control panel anytime and add as many additional POP3 email accounts as you need.
Sign off Website and Go Live
For Fresheverything to put your website live we must get your signature to say that you are 100% happy with everything.
Upgrading and Adding pages in the future
Please note: Your website is designed to grow with your business. Google loves a website that is updated on a regular basis. If you would like to add any components or additional pages at anytime just gather the content that you want to put on your website and contact us.
Google Adwords
If you have opted for Google Adwords to drive quality traffic to your website you will be contacted by Wendy who is our Qualified Google Adwords Professional. Wendy will guide you through the setup process and ensure you are happy with the proposed Google advertising campaign and clear about what’s involved
