Keyword Help

When we meet with you we will ask for your five selected Google Keywords. These are the Keywords which your potential customers will enter into Google.co.uk and find your Google Advert.

As your businesses focus may change over time if makes sense that your Keywords can be updated. Your Keywords can be updated once a month without additional cost however we recommend that your updated Keywords be left for at least 3 months to allow you to get a true indication of their impact on your business.

Help

  • WHAT are your TOP LEVEL services e.g. what business product or services do you want to promote
  • WHERE are your customers? The major towns and cities in your surrounding areas will get more searches e.g. Kitchen Installations Glasgow or Hot Tubs Edinburgh.
  • Plural words generally do best. E.g. Hot Tubs and not Hot Tub

Google Advert
Most businesses will take their Google Advert Text directly from their web site or business tag line. It should be kept short and relevant to the products or services you provide via your web site.

The top line of your advert will normally be your business name. The remaining 70 characters and your web site address will be distributed over the remaining advert area depending on the position of your advert on the front page of Google.co.uk

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To ensure we get you on the 1st page of Google.co.uk you MUST remove any Keywords that match your chosen 5 Keywords + business name should you have an existing Google Adwords Campaign running.
